Don't... didn't you hear about the incident where a girl got suspended for merely HUGGING her friends - it fell under the school's anti-PDA* policy ;););)

Do whatever you are comfortable with.
Don't do anything because others think you should, or shouldn't.
I don't think your sexes really matter - if you WANT to hug in the hal, then hug. If you would rather not be stared at, then don't nug in the hall.
But don't sweat it. Don't force it. Do you usually hug when you meet? Then do it..but if you don't, not only will you feel akward with your guy, you will also be aware of people watching you, feeling akward, with your guy, lol.
But, if you usually snog the face off each other when you meet, then go for it...and to hell with the stares!
Sure, I don't like to see people snogging in front of me, whatever their sexes are - but that doesn't mean they should refrain from doing it! lol
Do what comes naturally.

Don't do anything you aren't ready to do...and remember that when you get older too...boys will always be trying to talk you into something. It's best to start sticking to your guns now. Some schools have a policy about that sort of thing, but I think it shows more class to reserve that sort of thing for private time between you and your honey. Just give his and a squeeze when you are leaving him and give him a wink or something. OOps...thought that post was left by a girl...sorry.

i totally know how you feel. I don't like seeing or being the people kissing all over each other. Have some sympathy for people who might see you guys kissing and then they are forced to remember their failed relationship or similar. keep those extra intimate moments in a private area. Hugging is perfectly fine.

Yes! It should be fine. You shouldnt care what other people think. If you want to hug in the hallways, hug! So what!? Your gay! Who cares, if they want to get all in your business, they are just loosers who need to move on! Its the 21st century people!

Hug? Even friends hug, there is nothing wrong with hugging in the hallway.

I think if you really like him, you will hug him regardless what anyone may think. But if you feel a certain way, don't hug him if you don't have to!

You don't have any no contact rules in your school do you? If so keep your hands to yourself. Keep your hands to yourself. There are some pretty nasty people in every school you don't need that too.

Firstly that shouldn't make you uncomfortable if you don't care what everyone thinks! I would say go for it!
BUT if it does make you uncomfortable, he should respect that and not insist you do.
