If all varieties of crisps were taken away, and just left with ready salted. Or any flavour really, it doesn't matter.
I couldn't help noticing how many ridiculous flavours there are of crisps these days, and if we really need them all.
So, give me your opinion, and be honest!

I'd still eat them as long as it wasn't cheese and onion!!! And why do we have all the flavours but they only have a few in Europe?

My favourite flavour is Paprika (just ordinary crisps) which you can get in Europe but not over here...

And why is it so hard to buy ordinary crisps now? All the big packs are handcooked, panfried, really thick and hard, doritos, low fat, sensations, corn chips or something wierd... what happened to big packs of ordinary crisps???

I'll just get off my soap box now.... lol!!

well, we definatly need salt n vinegar, and we need cheese and onion, these are the only known source of vitamin bs, and without them the human body cannot produce fat cells more quickly than fat is burned. Lamb and mint flavour are not essential to our survival in the same way as honey and mustard flavour are, but without mini cheddars there would be no pringles. sour cream and onion is an interesting one.

THE RULE I GO BY IS: if i find a crisp which tastes like the flavour its meant to, then we need it, if not we dont. i have never eaten a crisp that tasted like chicken.

I wouldn't mind at all as I'm more of a sweet rather than savoury person however I would miss salt and vinegar crisps now and again - They are quite nice inside a cheese sandwich!

It's marketing. The companies want to sell more stuff. They can get some free publicity or attract attention. It's a gimmick.

It's not needed.

Ready salted is fine by me. Might dip one or two in vinegar though.

do we really need 100's of different chocolate bars? Do we really need 100's of different kinds of beers? do we really need 100's of different kinds of soap? I'm sure you get my point. Variety is the spice of life.

I'd have to admit it wouldn't bother me - I've pretty much cut stuff like that out of my diet.
