If you BOTH want the relationship to go to the next level and are willing to do what is encessary to make the relationship grow then it's not unreasonable to do so. unless of course, you are willing to wait until marriage. However, if you BOTH decide to take that step, make sure you'r eon THE SAME PAGE as to the purpose of doing that so that no one is hurt down the road. Keep the communication open and honest. GOOD LUCK!
p.s long distance relationships are tough!

You think it is an either or question--does he just want to have sex, or is this taking our relationship a step further. But men do not look at it that way. He just wants to have sex. Whether he wants to take the relationship a step further is an entirely separate question that has nothing to do with whether he wants sex. So have sex if you want to have sex, but understand that it doesn't necessarily have any deeper meaning than that for him, and will not necessarily make him any more committed to you.

My advice is not to sleep with this guy!!
Do you want to know why i say that?
The answer is in your question "the communication is only ok"!
You should only ever have sex when you feel completly comfortable with the person.
Don't have sex outside a trusting an loving relationship.
You'll regret it.
Wait until the right time comes along with a good man who loves you!!
Maybe it will be this boy as maybe it won't-time will tell!
Just take it slow and get to know eachother!

Listen to the question you are asking. When you are in a meaningful relationship with someone you care about, you don't have to ask something like that. It just happens when the time is right. If you have to question yourself than, honey, he aint the right one for you. If you care about this dude than what a bunch of strangers have to say should never be the answer to your question and should never matter....good luck

That is something that you need to ask yourself. You shouldn't leave it up to us to answer that for you!!! If you are ready..and I mean 100% truely in love with EACH OTHER, then yes. But if it is to just keep in satisfied then no. You have to be ready for this. It is a big step in a relationship!

If you feel you are ready and feel confident that he is ready and not just trying to get some then maybe, but if you think it will ruin the relationship then no. But if you say no, and he accepts your answer then it would seem nothing will go wrong if you say sure

You really would be better off getting married first. You both have too much to lose to risk getting pregnant, and all birth control, except abstinence, has a failure rate. If the communication is "just ok", then definitely do not do it. Tell him you want to get married first. You'll know your answer. If he actually marries you first, then he wants you for you. If he backs off, then you'll know he just wanted to sleep with you.

why not find someone who lives in the county to have sex with? If you are at a university then there is plenty of dudes to choose from.
But if you have to ask people like us if you should have sex with someone then you prob should not cuz you are not ready.
