Patodelamuerte- Does your user name mean what I think it means? I speak Spanish and am quite surprise you would've shown such little respect for yourself with this name.

Interesting question. I think it was meant for Jews so I won't answer it directly. I just felt like answering for the "military issues" part from the other side's perspective. Many years ago a Jewish convert lady showed up at our mosque in the US and was very interested in learning about Islam and getting to know people and visit them. People were really nice with her and everything, but then one Palestinian friend told me she made her feel really uncomfortable when she started asking her stuff like, "So, if I wanted to smuggle weapons into the West Bank, how would I do it?" And my friend was like, "How would I know?" And the lady was so persistant that she really started to think she was a spy.

Perhaps the Jewish lady got that feeling too, as she disappeared and stopped returning peoples' calls soon after. It is sad that often people can't trust each other, but we should try to remember that this is just one point in history, and things can change if enough people want them to.

there are plenty of iranian jewish people (persians) who are often visiting us and are the most amazing people, yes, thats my answer.
the only thing i have against the iranians ,is there goverment and its not the people.most of the iranians living in iran are brainwashed by the goverment to hate israel and jews, so as a result they would not want to visit me anyway (i am jewish).but if they have nothing against me and are friendly and we get on well then they are more then welcome to visit.
in every country, nationality, religion most people are great (thats human nature) its a pitty about the few other people who give there race a bad reputation.one cant judge a book by its cover.i only allow people into my home who i know first so if i know that person and like them then they are always welcome to visit, no matter whats there background.
and no, if my guests have earned there reputation i will not have guards.

There are some disgusting anti-Iranian replies here. If anyone made these kind of comments about Jews they would be accused of rampant anti-Semitism.

Why on earth wouldn't you trust an Iranian person?
What if I asked the question:

"Would you welcome a Jewish person into your home?...would you be untrusting and guarded.?"

Now do you see how anti-Iranian propoganda at the moment shows similarities with anti-Jewish propoganda in the run up to WW2? Do you see how unacceptable and insulting your question is?

I love Iranians, I went out with a super hot Iranian girl. She left me with a good impressions about Iranians. I wish I could learn Persian and go to IUST. Iranians would have preference over others in my home.
So whats your name....

Sure, Iranians would be welcome in my home; everyone is welcome so long as they are decent.

I couldn't care less about a person's nationality or religion. What I would be more interested in is their attitudes, sincerity, sanity... :)

comment for 'hopeless', I can tell you truthfully that I wouldn't have any problem welcoming a Palestinian into my home, if they were decent and if they wanted peace the way I do.

Would you welcome a Palestinian into your home (if they seemed friendly) and be open about military issues? LOL. Silly question! All are forgetting the question involves military,Do you see IDF doing that? Dinner is one thing with any human. Cheers!

paperback: thanks but i was giggling over the military part! Would you speak about the military plans with an Iranian or Palestinian?

Sure, why not? Everything I've seen about Iranians has been positive. The only negative things I see are about their government's oppression of the students and suppressing of free speech. I welcome anyone who condemns the killers of innocent "infidels."

Absolutely...Just as I expect that most Iranian citizens would welcome me if I showed up there. Considering I don't know any military secrets, I'd be as open and honest as possible.

depends... it really does...
but really it's the same as with any person... people often times have some boundries about letting random people (strangers) into their homes

but if i knew them and they were a good friend... no problem
also i would talk to about pretty much whatever too.
