Yes, according to the Christian religion homosexuality is sin, but so is lying, cheating, stealing, swearing, gossiping, drinking, doing drugs, murder, adultery, false idols, among other things. The fact is we all sin and no sin is any worse than the other in Gods eyes and most of us have a sin we continually do or are more prone to do. Without surrendering to God we may feel powerless against sin, but when you surrender to God and give you life to him and do his will, you will realize that his way is the best way and can become dead to that sin. Attraction isn't love, and we all lose our looks at some point. So what is love? It's making a commitment to someone else and if God says a man should not lay with another man, then we need to set our will aside and follow God's will for us. We need to realize that there is a God and we are not it. We live for him, not for ourselves and our sinful desires.

I can't believe your ignorance on this matter. Homosexuality is a sin not a lifestyle. Any activity at all along these lines is sinful and not acceptable to a holy God. Even heterosexual activity outside marriage is a sin. Masturbation is a sin. The greatest commandment is to love God with all your spirit, soul, and strength.

separate the beliefs of men, from the religion they preach.
Christianity teaches us not to judge because we are not worthy. if some one does judge, then they are the guilty ones.
i do not know of any perfect people left on Earth. we all have issues. it's hard enough to get through this life with everything that is going on, why do we need to look for more reasons to hate the other person.
I do know that it is written that Jesus, Gandhi, Mohamed, the Dali Llama, and Buddha all felt the same way.

Homosexuality is a sin, nevertheless, the church should love him as he is. If they feel that it is wrong and then they are judgemental towards him, they are sinners also, just as your friend is.

Can't speak for the Church but bi-polar people should be accepted and loved. Bi-lingual people have the gift of tongues so they won't be welcome in some really conservative churches. Bi-pedal people should be as welcome as anyone with only one leg. And people with annuities that pay dividends bi-annually should only be canvassed at those times out of courtesy.
