It's pretty long, well past my shoulders and I don't have any layers. I'd like to get a few but nothing too crazy because I still want to have long hair. My hair is naturally strait, light brown. What do you think would be a good hair cut /style for me to get?
Thanks!

It depends on your face shape. This article has tips & photos for flattering hair cuts for each face shape: http://beauty.about.com/od/hairbasics/a/flattering.htm
BTW, I like the way Reese Witherspoon has her hair in this article.

Here's another set of hair cuts to consider: http://matrix.com/find_your_hair_style/

I like the subtle layering of this hair cut: http://matrix.com/find_your_hair_style/long/style_16.aspx?scroll=858
The layers add a bit of definition and are long enough to pull back into a ponytail easily.

Nothing to drastic. Put a few layers in at a time and then go from their. See how it looks and add more later if you want. Take your time and see what you like.
