uhhm are you talkin about the correct procedure for the artist to bandage it? because if the artist puts saran wrap on it after hes done then it traps bacteria under it and it cant breathe.. the only proper way to bandage a tattoo is with an actual medical bandage (which was set forth by the APT) not a paper towel, gauze, or saran wrap.
If your talkin about bandaging it after never do it because the tattoo needs to get air

hey. It actually depends on how big the tattoo is. You should actually only have it bandaged the day you recieve the tattoo and then keep cleaning the tattoo. I already have 3, and I never heard that saran wrap was bad, cuz I have one on my foot and I didn't want to get my foot all ruined, but I stopped using that and just started using aquaphor. It's great stuff.

No bandage, they will most likely wrap you with a saran wrap, and thats only needed for a couple hours of having the new tattoo.
Your new tattoo will need to cleaned, and able to breathe and seep out any plasma leakage, and ink...
Good luck

If it was already badanged and you have taken it off, dont reapply one. Just use lotion on the tattoo everyday after washing it with warm water and a very mild soap.

I got my first one two weeks ago...when she was done ..she says....to take care of your tattoo do exactly as I say....don't listen to your friends....just use what I give you and follow my directions....she gave me 2 little containers and told me not to remove my bandage for two hours...then after that....use the things she gave me...every two hours for two days....one was some kind of soap and the other was some kind of gel....after that do your usual...it healed great....people who have had one says it looks better then what theirs did....so I suggest ask your tattooist what they prefer..

my artist always recommended no bandage at all, just a thin, clear coating of Bacitracin... good luck

they'll cover it for you after it's done.. they'll use cling wrap.. you leave it on for an hour or two.. that's it..
don't cover it after that.. your tattoo needs to breathe..
