what r some signs u have a bad battery and starter?

some of the signs are the car will drag when you try to start it and it will also drain the battery down really slow, and sometimes it may have to be jump started to get it going,other times things may appear to not work correctly in it as they should,i would have the battery checked first that may be the main cause of it,it usually is,good luck on it.
