As in any religion there are people who are SERIOUSLY mislead. First i'll say this God has given each of us free will to choose between right and wrong. There are people who believe that it's okay to live a gay lifestyle and be considered a Christian but that is so far from the truth of being of the body of Jesus Christ. In the New Testament (Romans) and Old Testament (Leviticus) it tells us that it is an abomination to lay with a man as you would with a woman and vice versa. So those who think they can live a gay lifestyle and go to heaven they are sadly mistaken and I hope they allow the Holy Spirit to convict them before judgement because it'll be a sad thing when He(God) says "Depart from me I know you not, ye worker of iniquity". I do realize that this answer may not be popular but it is THE GOSPEL TRUTH!!!! One more thing I do have to add b/c most people say that God loves you for you and that is true to certain point, God loves everyone-BUT HE DOES NOT LOVE THEIR SIN!!!!! If it was okay with God, in the beginning there would have been Adam and Steve or Eve and Jill but He made them male and female.

The church I belonged to did not point fingers at homosexual individuals. But it also did not recognize in any open fashion that they were members.
The bible was written in historic times that basically demanded procreation so the belief system could be handed down to the progeny- be fruitful and multiply! Today we are looking at mandatory sterilization and limiting the number of births allowed in some countries!
It is part of the reason I am no longer a member of organized religon. It doesn't make sense to ostrasize human beings for their choices or the way they were born if they are not hurting their fellow human beings. I truly don't believe that God as I feel Him to exist meant for such mis-representation in the positive energy pool we all belong to, no matter who we are attracted to or are in a relationship with.

Christianity is open to all, regardless of their sin. A homosexual or bi-sexual can be a Christian, but if they are truly saved then they will begin (at some point in their lives) to turn from their sexuality. We all sin and come short of the glory of God, before we are saved and after. It took God about ten years to get it through to me that saying "Oh my G--!" was sinful. It slowly become a disgusting thing to hear myself say and then to hear others say. I still tell lies without even thinking about it (I can't come in today, I'm sick...sick of work maybe, but not ill) until afterwards, but don't always correct myself even though I ask God for forgiveness. If a homosexual is truly saved then God will work on that area of their lives in HIS time, not in ours. Some will get, some won't, but they all will be forgiven. There is not one Christian on the face of this earth that can say that once they were saved they sinned no more! Christ forgave the adulteress woman from a stoning and then told her to "go and sin no more". He doesn't tell us if she obeyed that command, but He forgave her none the less. Christians that believe that a homosexual cannot be saved if they do not turn from their homosexuality upon salvation need to look into their own lives and ask themselves.."Did God immediately weed out all of my sin the moment I received salvation?" The answer will always be NO! He is the Author and Finisher of our faith. We are to WORK OUT our salvation. Righteousness does not come immediately, it is a process.

This is a very interesting question, well as a Christian I know that we are all sinners (to say we are imperfect) and all sin is unexceptable to God but because Jesus came to die for us so that we could be united with God we can find forgivness through Him for any sin. Now I am not saying being gay is ok, I am saying that as long as we live for God and not ourselves we can be forgiven. So to act sexually on this urge would be wrong but having the urge itself isnt necessarily wrong. Idon't think its right but then I have things that I have done that are not right either. I constantly fall short and need to be forgiven all the time. Same goes for that.

I am neither gay nor bisexual, but I have always been raised in a Christian home and was taught that when it comes to gay or bisexual acts, you may hate the "deed" but not the person. But for what it's worth, I believe that God made all of us, and we need to live and let live.

You CAN NOT be gay or bi.. and call yourself a christian. The bible talks about how this is wrong. God created woman to be with man. Not 2 men to be together... or 2 women to be together. If people really read the bible they would understand that.

God can do ALL and once I stepped off beam for a at an identical time as, i replace into in a relationship with yet another lady... i prayed lots that he might enable me to be drawn to a guy so as that i might desire to marry, have intercourse, and not be sinning... after a great style of prayer, he despatched me an "angel"... my fiance... the final guy I surely have ever typical.. and guess what.. i'm sexually drawn to him.. and that i cant wait to marry him and commence a family individuals with him! so in end.. listed right here are some factors: a million. homosexuality isn't a decision 2. the sin is the lust and intercourse till now marriage 3. God made marriage so it is going by utilising His regulation.. guy and lady 4. God can do all and can relieve you of your charm to the comparable intercourse in case you ask 5. God loves ALL 6. as christians, we are to hate the sin, yet LOVE THE SINNER! so NO judging!!!!!!!

It's really the same as any other sin. If you want to keep it on the sexual level, same-sex attractions are no worse [or actually no different] than lusting after your neighbor's wife, fornication, adultery, or any other sexual sin that heterosexuals commit. Sin is sin, period.
Homosexuality is a sin.
Homosexuals are people.
Jesus died for ALL people.

Any person can overcome any temptation with the power of the Holy Spirit. We do not discriminate about particular sins, as long as they are in Christ, they are a new creation, and the old has passed away.
