ok so i have a small case of pink eye...how long does pink eye usually last? i have anti-biotic eye drops, but i want to know how long it usually lasts.

pink eye usually lasts 7 to 10 days with out antibiotic. With anibiotic drops the redness will go away in 24 to 48 hours but you still need to take the drops like prescribed from you doctor or it will come back. Good Luck!

I had it once and the doctor told me that it usually lasts about a week. There are two types of causes for pink eye: viral and bacterial. Drops will only help in one type, will not speed up healing of the other, but would not hurt either. Without drops it would still last about a week; with drops a bit shorter.

It really doe suck having pink eye but mine with my drops it leased for 3 days
