Lack of chemistry is definitely ONE of the reasons why couples break up, but not usually the main reason.

Speaking from experience, I was married to someone who is a good person. Unfortunately, we didn't really have the chemistry to last a lifetime. Too bad, we were too young to realize that when we got married.

I realized it more when I got remarried to someone who definitely has great chemistry with me. Now, I could totally see growing old with her and succeed because of our chemistry together.

Sometimes. People usually split up for worse things though like infidelity. Even because they get tired of each other (actually heard a guy admit it, recently).

The main reason statistically is fighting over money. The second is abuse, either physically or abuse.

i guess. people in the beginning can have so much chemistry, but end up fighting too much and rather split up than stay together..but sure, you're right. or one of them has cheated. (god forbid)
