When a (particular) man talks to you and constantly looks you straight in the eyes, is it a good sign (i.e. liking or possible attraction) or can it be just the way he is? When I say 'cnstantly', I mean, I have to look away as I can't take 100%. Tried to look for dilated pupils, but can't tell!
Put 20's and 30's in the title as know there are alot of teenagers on here and I wanted a more expereinced perspective, although I know most teenagers are probably more au fait with this than me!

Just to add after viewing your helpful posts, he's not staring up and down, just in the eyes and he doesn't come accross as supremely confident generally, more nervy. It's not creepy just a bit odd - I make alot of eye contact myself but haven't come accross someone that attentive!

It's not just eye contact - because he could simply have a lot of confidence and speak to everyone that way. It also has to do with his lips - if they're upturned when he's speaking to you - as well as the topic discussed. A woman can tell when a man's flirting.
The best thing to do is observe him when he speaks to other people to see if he behaves the same with them. Or, if you're bold, you can playfully say "keep staring at me like that and I'll think you're flirting." Then wink and start to walk away. If he's interested, he'll probably make a comment confirming so and if not, he'll probably comment that his girlfriend wouldn't appreciate that or something else just as lame to which you can respond "I was just kidding, you know."
I hate these kinds of games, but some people are too shy to just step up to the plate.

It is said that eye contact is part of flirting. I don't know about this guy though, he is probably insecure and searching for a sign that you are interested. What he doesn't realize is, all he is going is creeping you out! If you are interested in him, then try to find out more. I am betting if you ask him about his future goals he won't have a straight answer.

I am 31 years old. I constantly use eye contact when talking to anyone. I am confident in myself and not the least little bit bashful. I cannot say yes or no if the guy is interested in you, he may also be just a confident guy. I would go by his body language to me after being around him a bit, so that I could know more about his intentions.

The way you write it makes it sound a bit creepy! I'm sure you don't see it that way though, haha.
But I know that when I see a girl I'm attracted to, I do try to use a lot of eye contact and hope she gets the idea that I'm interested.

It can be a sign of attraction, no question about it, but there are many guys out there who are very flirty and palyful and stare at women during conversations, without any serious thought about them... So don't drink on it!
Good luck!

To me eye contact is big in anything i do. Its more of a respect thing! Not that he might not like you but just like a firm hand shake to me eye contact shows character.

Eye content would be like eye candy, it looks good, whereas
eye contact would mean chemistry, like its gonna be good.
