Why do you need to go to Canada to change your visa type? I would have thought you could do this through one of the Egyptian embassies in USA (see link below).
To my knowledge, Canada does not issue US entry visas to Egyptian citizens. My only guess is that you must exit the USA and re-enter using the replacement visa, so you selected Canada?
Regardless, if you do need to come to Canada, you will need a tourist visa to be admitted here. (see the Immigration Canada website link)
