Knowing that my name is written in the book of life is worth my struggles. Knowing that Jesus will never say depart from me is worth it.

That is our eternal life in The Holy Kingdom, this is nothing, when sin is wiped from the earth, imagine all these problems gone, no more death, unhappiness, being with our FAther, being with Jesus christ, how wonderful that will be, you can be with The Lord now, but, when we get to heaven, all of this other day to day worries will be gone.

Heaven is nothing more than returning home to our native state and existence. We return after our course of study is completed here. It's wonderful to return home, and it's wonderful to apply yourself to interesting course of study. Succeed or fail, we learn a lot.

Yes, it will be wonderful to return home after our work here is done - and when we get back, we will rest and get right back at the end of the line, because this is surely the best ride in the park.

Peace!

I think this sums up why we should be joyful through all things. It isn't a pie in the sky fantasy. It is our great hope, the promise that we have been assured, that Jesus is coming back to take us home. If that is our focus, it should make our time on earth more worthwhile. Praise God.

I guess that would depend on what you value. Those who value what's in heaven will be, well i'll just say very happy since words can not describe anymore. For those who do not value what's in heaven, will most likely not be there to be disappointed anyways.

You have 2 choices - you can believe it will be or believe it won't. If you believe it will and you do everything to get there you will be very happy. If you believe it won't and it is - you will never know because you won't be there to find out! So what do you have to lose???

I find it sad that christians waste their short lives believing in an eternal afterlife.

this life is all you get! What a waste.
