I am new to canada and also with the ski scene. North Face jackets seem nice but they dont seem to be very poular and if you could also tell me what brands are popular (with boys).

i'm gonna guess that the reason "popularity" with teens is an issue is because of money. TNF isn't cheap and for good reason. I don'y buy my teens TNF because they won't get to use it more than a few months. I buy them lesser expensive obermeyer.

I believe that Quicksilver is great for skiwear, but not for boarding ear, Columbia is probably a bit better, if only for its name, and great universal appeal, North Face was a good name, and might come in useful, if only for its attractive styllishness, and finally Orage is a new name come in, I guess from France, or so the name appears, and is more for thirty year old or more (post teens). Let me know what of any other brand you may be keeping an eye on. I've heard Ride may be good, and though I found them a little pricey, they are fashionable if not so warm. Adam.

Why do you ask so many "What's popular with teenagers" questions in the skiing section?
Who cares what you are wearing while skiing! It's the quality of your skiing and comfort of your equipment that counts.
Get whatever works for you, not whatever the masses think is "cool."
FYI, Northface is a very high quality product. It's expensive, though.

northface may not b the most popular but thats only caus its expensive, some other companies you should check out are sessions, burton, bonfire, oakley, acg, and orage
