It is called grace because we do not deserve it no matter what we do? We still have to do our part. Praying to accept Jesus as your Savior is actually a work right? If it was completely grace no one would ever have to do a thing right? And therefore we would ALL be on the fast track to heaven.

No, they probably don't realize that prayer is a kind of "work".... or humility, or love, or repentance....

Grace is a gift that God offers to everyone through the death and ressurection of Jesus. When someone gives you a physical gift, it does not become yours until you accept the gift from them. Grace is offered and must be accepted by repenting of sin and claiming Christ as Savior and Lord of your life. The gift of grace is available to all, but unfortunately not everyone accepts the gift.

We are saved by Grace but we must spread the good news and feed/clothe the poor. Praise the LORD.

Our part is faith, trust & repentance.......and yes, God bestowes grace upon us regardless of the sin. We have been eternally washed by the blood.

Very good question

I love this verse concerning this:

2 Corinthians 7:10 “Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.”

But it's still not about works

You have to kneel at the Baptist preacher's toes and do the special incantation.
The Baptists made it easy for you, and you want it still easier?

Are you lazy or what?
