Hi! Im on a roll today asking questions...dang...!

Anyways...I've got shoulderlength brown hair...
for my engagement shots should I leave it down or do an updo?

If you think i should do an updo, give me some suggestions on what it should look like (links with photos..or websites would help too!)

Thanks everyone that saves me about 25 dollars if I just keep it down..im gonna have him style it as I don't normally wear hairspray or anything like that..I normally just wash my hair and let it dry naturally..but i want it to look better than that for pics :)

Leave it down...save the fancy stuff for your big day honey bun! :) So everyone will be WOW'd. :) The best thing to do in your photo's is SMILE! :) The photos will be gorgeous!!

I would leave the updo for the wedding day itself, engagement photos should be casual dress, so curl your hair do something you wouldn't normally do that takes the picture up a notch from just an ordinary day. You might do loose spiral curls to creat a slight wave in your hair, or if you have hot rollers use them that creates nice soft curls around the face that looks a little more elegant than just your average do. Congratulations by the way hun good luck to you and your future husband.

My husband and I took our engagement pics with casual-dressy clothing and I didn't go overboard with my hair or makeup. My photographer said she was really happy that we didn't over kill with dressing up. She said that your engagement pictures should represent the two of you as you normally are - the pictures came out amazing!

I don't think you should get an up do done - just style your hair nice and do your make up like you do every day (maybe just some extra cover up for smoothness) and that's it.

Hi. No...don't do an updo. An engagement picture is really meant to look like you do normally so I would forego the updo.

I'd say keep it down.
Save the updo for the wedding (if you want).
I'm very easy going about my hair and I don't like to put alot of effort into it so I'd go to the salon and tell them to style it for me.

your engagment photo should be natural to the way you & your hubby always are. For mine we both dressed nice and casual but on the nicer side. I wore my hair down the way I always do.

You should stick to looking nice but not over done, save that for your wedding :)

congrats & have fun!!!!

For your engagement shot I think you should keep it natural. Keep it down with soft curls. Remember the really fancy hair should be kept for your special day!!!

Be yourself and wear your hair as you normally do. No need for an updo. You hair looks shiny and healthy, so why tying it up? It's beautiful. Show it off!

Good luck

Engagement Photos are more casual, Just a little more "dressy" than your every day. Definitely have your hairdresser do your hair but just a blow dry or something fun, not so formal! Have fun!

Engagement photos are usually more casual, so I would say to wear your hair how you normally wear it.
