Okay, I saw this question asked a while back and I read some jacked up answers. People have responded by saying that god didn't kill his son the Romans did. Wow, we have such a choosie god. He can inpregnant a women without having sex (which is a miracle) and then when the child he created gets in trouble he doesn't come to his rescue. He has all the power in the world and he doesn't even save the one he created. Wow, that is scary. How am I suppose to feel safe trusting in this god if he wouldn't even save the virgin blood he helped create. It almost sounds like something out of a Vampire movie. This god in the bible is not the god I know.
The God that created the universe has never written a book. Man has written what he thinks about God. The bible is nothing more than documents detailing the lives of people throughout the history of Earth.

If God can let Jesus die on the cross because thats the price he is willing to give to save all of humanity. What does this say about those in war that use their children as weapons against the enemy. Are we saying that its okay because God did it too.

first off, the child that god created didnt get "in trouble". it was his purpose and he was fulfilling it by dying on the cross. Second. we are god's creation too, yet we die. so why are you not having a problem with that? Jesus was all man and all god, if you can wrap your mind around that. its a wierd thing to think about.
that is what the bible is, details on human lives. but they are god-breathed words that the authors wrote down with direction from god. the authors of the bible wrote what god told them to write about.

No we Christians are not saying it is okay to sacrifice your son in the name of war. We humans are not perfect, as a matter of fact we are dreadfully sinfull. Jesus was not sinfull. He was Perfect. Only a Perfect Jesus could wash away the sins of the world. No ordinary human could. Only Jesus's death on the Cross at Calvery would cleanse us and make us clean. Our lives today is about serving the risen Lord. Our lives are about serving Jesus Christ. If you do this and become a Born Again Christian you will have treasures in Heaven someday when you pass away. And as you know you will die someday, maybe tomorrow. Life is unpredictable. The Bible clearly teaches that to see Heaven you must be Born Again, John 3:3 if you want to read it. To be born again you must be willing to confess to Jesus you are a sinner and admit that you need a Saviour. Jesus is waiting, He will forgive everything you have ever done. His death on the Cross was the penalty for Your sins. Today is the day of Salvation. If you would like to be Born Again and saved by his precious blood shed on the cross just pray this sinners pray of faith believing with all your heart and soul and strength, God will do the rest, just pray Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus will now send his Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and guide you into all truth. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

Here is something Paul said in Acts. You do see the part that says God's own blood? That is why it's God's grace and mercy. God himself paid the price for us.
Acts 20:28
Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

Nobody got killed, Jesus was resurrected, just like we will be that accept The Lords gift of salvation, Jesus did this for us, because if He hadn't we would be in hell for our sins, we would be seperated, Jesus had to come in the flesh, to go through what we did with temptation, only Jesus Christ resisted it, not one of us can say that, People can be so evil, and thier is only one way to get away from that, even Jesus Christ said on the cross, FAther forgive them for they know not what they do, Jesus asked for all of our forgiveness, When we have Jesus we know what we are doing, We have to come to Jesus and ask for forgiveness, none of your question has any relevance when you match it up to Gods very word and plan for us, God loves us so much, so much.

you would say that if you had to kill your son to save billions and billions of lives for just one you would not do it. remember we are all gods children and he wants us all to see the light that he has broght forth for us. God also gave us free will to chose as we will. he said that he will not force us onto anything therefore when the people chose to kill jesus he would not stop it. also jesus did not really die he came back 3 days latter remember

Abraham almost killed his son Isaac because God told him to. God did it to test Abraham's loyalty. That's in Genesis.

You forget...Christ is God. God gave Himself to fulfill the payment of yours (and my) sin so you could have eternal life with Him. You only need to choose it

Even if I did believe in God, I would never harm a hair on my son's head.
Let Joe Hovah commit his own damn murders...
