I love this vapor canopy. It's not terrribly hard to show that if this so called vapor canopy existed (i.e. all the water of the flood was in or above atmosphere beforehand)--well--the phsyics to calculate the surface air pressure of the earth with that mass of water suspended--is simple. And works out to like 1400 PSI. Either pre flood people evolved to live in high pressure or Noah and his family and all the animals on the ark--died of the bends when the atmosphere depressurized. Wait--sorry--what the ark was was actually a giant pressure chamber designed to reduce pressure gradually to new atmospheric pressure of 15 psi.

Maybe there was lots of humidity wherever the author was writing from. How do you explain night and day being created, and also plants, BEFORE the Sun was created?

"The "Vapor Canopy" is not from Genesis. It is a creationist misrepresentation of a passage in Genesis which mentions the "waters above the earth"
Seeing as how even creationists have now discredited the idea, I would like to know what your point is?
