you should definitely run away and hide under a rock. That way, noone will say hi to you.
He was probably saying hi as a polite way of letting you know that you were in his way. He was practicing for track while you stood there in the middle of the lane staring at him.

Say Hi back and casually start making conversation. He could turn out to be a really interesting person.

Wouldn't you say hi back? I mean come on.
I think he was just being friendly, don't think too much of it because then you'll become obsessed. It is entirely possible though that he wanted to see how you reacted, but in this case, think pessimistically.
:) Try saying hi to him out of no where and see how HE reacts. (: Good luck!!!

I like to roll my eyes at them, I think my boyfriend would like that better. I smile alot of times though. Smilling gets me the wrong response, so I like giving them a thizz face or something like that=)
