It is not a matter of logic but a matter of definition. You may define wings to look a certain way, and if any of the items you mentioned above would have a different type of thing which would help them fly, they would not have wings but still could fly.

2-- Yes. The Moa was a bird found in New Zealand and it did not have any wings at all. Not a single one of the species ever had wings.
