I will not question someone's salvation...but I will question their disciplineship...I would find it very hard as a Christian to be a liberal...why? The liberal agenda stands for everything that are against Biblical principles and against nothing but God and republicans...

How can you say that you can not compromise on the Bible when the Bible is obviously subject to interpretation? There are many different branches of different religions, similar, but still different, all based off of the same Bible because people take things from the Bible and twist in into what they WANT to believe.
Now I love me a good Bible story, but each person sees it a little different. And everybody is a hypocrite in some way.
Are you completely free of sin and hypocrisy? I don't think so. Even with this question. God says, "don't judge lest though be judged."
So be careful of how high and mighty you get.
AND everybody is responsible for themselves, they have their own free will, so take some responsibilty for the fact that maybe you (or whoever) ALLOWED yourself to be led astray, rather than blaming it on the woman or person you followed. There is nothing Christian about trying to blame everybody else but yourself for your short comings, or sin, or whatever you want to call it.
It's called Personal Responsibilty.

And conservative christians aren't hypocritical?
Voting down health care for children isn't very Christian, now is it?
Squelching welfare programs that help the poor doesn't seem very Christian either. Neither does the death penalty - or starting a war for no good reason.
How come the only values that Christian voters care about are abortion, gay marriage and anything to do with 'sex'? Is two gay men getting married more offensive to your Christian sensibilities than the deaths of 500,000 human beings?
Take a good look at yourself and who you are voting for. Neither party represents Christian values. But at least the liberals dont pretend to.

My friend, being a liberal Christian has nothing to do with leading or supporting an immoral lifestyle. Study the life of Christ. He was a liberal by any ones standards and since He is the example we are to follow, I'm proud to be a liberal Christian.

I'll let God deal with the hypocrisy. there is a very good reason Jesus had some of his harshest words of judgment for the hypocrites.
I have asked for forgiveness for my hypocrisy and often pray that God will lead me away from hypocracy in the future.

As former lifelong Dem, I think the Democratic party has officially lost their collective mind...
Call me a 'one issue' voter, but you arent going to assuage me into voting for someone who is for 'up'ing min wage' and FOR partial birth abortions....

Hmmmm, I've seen some conservatives "twist" the Bible to get it to say what they want through proof-texting. How do you treat them?

How do I treat hypocritical Christians? By saying, "Thanks for the points, God's Chosen One."
It's truly sad that you have no concept of what it means to follow Christ.
Now pardon me while I get back to being rampantly led astray by Nea.
