Well, I don't get the whole "You did me wrong so in return I'm going to kill my son." I think there is a serious screw loose in that line of reasoning, so I don't think I would serve him, no. People like that are best to be left alone if they have supernatural powers. In that case they may just forget you even exist. But what if I worship him and Jesus does God wrong. Does that mean that he is going to sacrifice me for Jesus's sins? No thank you.

I am not an Atheist, but no one will ever convince me that Jesus was the son of God... Notable historians don't even acknowledge his existence

idiots are those who follow a fictional text and believe that following it is there way to salvation....

Absoultley, I'm not an athiest just to go against the grain. The problem is no one can ever prove or even give a convincing argument to God's existance.

To many people have died in too many wars to "serve" anyone. Perhaps why in Paradise Lost we have the famous quote, I'd rather rule in hell than serve in heaven. It would seem to me that any intellegence capable of all ascribed to him would be evolved enough not to need slaves or gofers. I suspect that if there is a Creator, he would prefer an independant mind.

If I was convinced there was a god, I wouldn't be an atheist.

If atheists were convinced that there was a God, they would no longer be atheists.

No. No one worth serving would send his son to die for others. No one worth serving would require a human sacrifice to forgive transgressions. No one worth serving would mete out eternal torment as punishment for finite transgressions.

Theist, if you found out that there are many gods, would you serve them all?
