Move to a better neighborhood instead of wasting money on an expensive TV

Do not super glue the TV to anything because (1) it will not stop the theft and (2) it will make your TV non-returnable should it prove to be defective and require replacement under the warranty.

To avoid the TV being stolen:

(1) Put it in a room where it is not visible to the street.

(2) Do not throw the box away just simply flatten it once the initial warranty has passed and you can no longer simply return the set to the store.

(3) Do not tell others about it. Keep your pride in your new purchase to yourself. The less people who know the better.

(4) Don't spend so much on it that you cannot afford to insure it or buy an alarm system.

Do not superglue the TV. Superglue will cause the pastic to melt and bubble and is not to be used on plastic. Instead purchase a locking wall mount.

They should have a few models that are used for commercial installations.

I think that you need a security lock on a cable like you can get to secure a laptop to a desk. You stick the pad on to the BACK of the TV and secure the armoured cable to a fixed object with the lock at the end. I have seen them at PC World.

You deserve to have your TV stolen for asking such a question. Should have used the your money to move out of the ghetto instead of buying a new plasma.
