The statement that "Immigration is a Federal Problem" is crap and everyone knows it. It is one of the favorite mantras of the pro-illegal faction because it suits them.

Illegal aliens are not creating problems in the "Federal" where is the "Federal"? They are creating problems for the states, and within the states, the local communities. It is at that level where the problem exists.

If a National Forest catches fire do we turn our back on it and say it is a "Federal" problem? No. We deal with the problem because it affects us where we live. Same holds true with illegal immigration.

I can't speak for other states but i can tell you that there are entire cities in California that have been taken over by illegal aliens. American citizens have been forced out. Where were the Feds?

The founding Fathers were very careful to preserve States Rights. Read the proceedings of the 39th Congress, the Congress that passed the 14th amendment, and you will see that those Senators werte very protective of individual states rights when it came to immigration. You will also see that there is no way that the 14th amendment grants birthright citizenship.

The State has every right to pass and enforce legislation that acts in concert with Federal law....and they should

wrong wrong wrong wrong and wrong. The federal government has none of those jobs except counterfeiting enforcement.

Article I section 8 of the constitution. The other things you listed have become the domain of the ever-growing federal machine because it has taken them upon itself, not because its their right to do anything about it.

YOU should go after the other stuff that happens at a state level, not beg big brother to do it for you.

Illegal immigration is a huge, out of control problem. Go after all crimes, but especially those that no one has DONE anything about for years.
