Just wondering if its possible to improve an invention, or a product thats currently out in circulation ...?

Inventing, yes... you can ... but how do you get a product into circulation...?

Actually the vast majority of patents that are issued *are* for improvements to existing inventions. Very rarely does a truly unique invention come along.

As for getting it into circulation -- that is sometimes more difficult than getting a patent in the first-place. Google: "inventor" "invention" "marketing" for lots of companies that will "help" you in your quest, but beware that some of these so-called inventors marketing companies are not much better than scam artists.

If you don't know your business (or any business), you don't belong in the business world. The best thing that can happen to you is that you go broke, the worst thing is that it also ruins your life.

The easiest way to learn business is to work for an established one. Work for 5-10 years in a business of your choice and learn how it is done. You can pick up valuable experience about what works and what does not. When you find something that customers complain about a lot, but nobody in the field is willing to serve them, then, and only then, do you have a market niche to play in. And that is when you get your own business started.
