I am who I am today by listening to constructive criticism and altering parts of me that needed some adjustments
I value constrictive criticism

That would depend a lot on who the "constructive criticism" is coming from and how many times they were right in the past. Human nature being what it is, I would also look at their motive. If it was someone I could trust because of their track record and reason for criticizing, I would value it (and them).

Only if I ask for it. Sometimes I just like being myself, even if myself isn't perfect. I don't want to do my hair another way, or break up with my boyfriend. I love myself for who I am, and unless they have way more experience than myself in the field, like an auto machanic, and I am totally clueless, I like to learn my own lessons. But I never correct them. I listen and take into consideration to what they say, and decide myself what to do. And most of the time, my path that I already am on, is the right one for me.

I do value constructive criticism. In hindsight, the criticism has opened my eyes and encouraged me.

Constructive criticism, yes. Very very carefully constructed.

Absolutely. I realize that I have a great deal to learn, and that people who are in a position to observe me trudging happily down the path to error are to be heeded when they cry, "Stop!!".

I do need to be corrected at time!! I prefer to be corrected because it helps me to do better. Yes sometimes it really nags, but I do think it over.

God bless

sometimes it may be hard to hear but if they are right then it's important to listen and value what they tell you, they are only trying to help you see your mistakes or problems and make you a better person.
