bacon rib is cured and or smoked while pork rib is fresh without any cureing or smoking or salt rub on it or a sugar rub

Well they're the same bit of the pig but the "bacon" one has been cured and should keep longer and the "pork" one is fresh.
Both very tasty!

Bacon is cured, a mixture salt is the primary ingredient, sugar and some spices make the cure.
