The crimes I know of were committed 17 years ago or so and the statue of limitations is 10 years. I only recently found out but I am sure if he did it then he wil do it again.

I would never make an accusation as strong as this without being opositive about its validity.

Call the police and give them any evidence you have or tell them who he molested. Or just kill him and bury him in the desert.

I am with Karen L - why does the asker need our validation? I am sure she has been told since she was old enough to listen to report crimes to the police.
I think either she is the victim, or she was present when someone else was victimized. I do believe it could take 17 years to get the courage to come forward.
the legal system will extract costs from you - you don't just get to make the call and forget about it. Ther will be legal proceedings, both public and private you wil need to testify at.
You may put your relationships with family and community at risk for alleging old incidents, and that may be double if you are not the victim.
In fact, if you are not the victim, you don't really know if there was a settlement of the case do you? 17 years is a long time.
I would suggest that if this is bothering you, before you go to the police, that you spend some time with a counselor who specializes in such matters. S/h will help you cope with whatever is bothering you and what might be ahead.
Then if you want to, you can proceed as others have suggested.

Call your local Police dept. NOW!
Let them handle it.
You can't be prosocuted or revealed to the public by doing this.
You will fill horrible if this guy molest a child again knowing you could have done something about it.
THIS IS YOUR CIVIC DUTY TO DO THIS!
CALL THE POLICE NOW!
If you are afraid of being revealed by having the police show up at your door. Go to the police department in person, they won't bite you!

Call the Police non emergency number and ask to speak to a Juvenile Detective.
When you talk to the Detective, tell him or her what you know about the individual's activities, and how you got your information.
Give the Detective a complete description of the individual, where he lives, what type of vehicle he drives, etc.
Also, if you know the names or locations of any of this person's victims, that will also be very helpful.
Thank you for making the effort to protect innocent children from this low life.

Well, if you're certain that he is molesting children and hasn't been caught and punished, the last place I'd be going is Yahoo Answers. I'd talk to your law enforcement, see what they know about the man.
I'm curious to know how you know he's doing these things, it's a bold thing to accuse someone of if you have nothing to back it up (such as a record, eye witness account, etc.).

If he has actually committed a crime report the crime to the police. If you just think he is creepy, stay away from him. However you should avoid saying things bad about him that you can not prove in court. He could sue you for slander or libel.

His punishment grew to become into the time served...it particularly is it. As a former convict he has a existence time of alternative subject concerns, and as a intercourse criminal greater subject concerns on good of that. His existence is going to be a set of undesirable information. Depriving the guy of a pension that he earned isn't part of the kit.

Do you have evidence of the crime?
Are you the victim? If the victim has not come forward --- what is there to gain from this witch-hunt?
The charge of this type of crime is punishing enough and there is no recourse for a false accusation.
