Positive answer? Ummm... Both Christian and Muslim have an "i" and an "s" in them, and they can make up an "is", and then we can our new word to connect the two like "Christian IS Muslim". And then we've uncovered the secret, in a similar fashion to the way they did it in the DaVinci Code. And BAM! Christian is Muslim...
Wait, is that right?

On a large scale there are many similarities between the two. Some of the more "significant" points, from a Christian standpoint, would be:
- Jesus as Messiah (and his return on the DoJ)
- The life of Christ, beginning with the immaculate conception, but differing as to the time of his ascension/resurrection. Everything in between (most importantly Miracles) are intact.
- A massive list of theological history & beliefs, other prophets, major events, angels, etc, (Too Much to list)
- 10 Commandments & 7 Deadlies (The easy stuff)
- Basic Principles & Moral Codes
- Similar End time Scenarios.
One can never say there is 100% agreement as interpretation of the law on both sides change with time and level of observance. However a broader interpretation finds more similarities between the two than differences. (Nit-Picky folks often ignore that and cite small points of contention and miss the big picture)

You know there are alot of core beliefs that Muslims and Christians agree on!
1- Love and respect your parents.
2- Treat people with kindness and respect.
3- The stories of Noah, Moses, Adam, Jonah, and most of the prophets are the same.
4- They both believe in the miracles of Jesus are believed in by both. With the exception of the resurrection.
5- They both believe in one God!
6- They both have members of their religion who take the teachings and corrupt them to fit their agenda!
If the Muslims and Christians would spend more time concentrating on the similarities between them, instead of the differences, imagine what would happen!

there is only 1 God. This God is also the God of the Jews. The Muslims also believe that Jesus was a good man. Here is an important distinctions orthodox Christians think Jesus was a good man AND God. But they both think he was good.

That women are inferior to men. That gays should be killed. Muslims are just better at not hiding that one though. That it's cool to wave your countries flag around and shoot guns. That everyone else besides them should die an burning death. Sorry if you were looking for positives. The thinking people of the world are really getting sick of wacko religious people ruining it for the rest of us.
