Bring up the screen
Press the Crtl+PrintScrn key
Nothing will appear to happen, but the screen has been copied into the computer clipboard.
Open a graphic editor (such as the Paint program included in Windows)
Do a Paste and the screen should appear.
Save it as a file
E-mail the file to your ISP

(Depending on the e-mail program you use, you may be able to skip the "Paint" part, and just paste the clipboard into the e-mail. Try it. If it does not work, then you will have to used Paint and save it as a file instead.)

At the top of your keyboard just to the right of your Backspace key and above it there is a key that says Prt Scrn/SysRq.

To capture what you want you simply press that key to put the "picture" of your screen onto your Clipboard.

Open Paint>Select Edit at the top left>Select Paste>Select File at the top of the Paint Screen>Select Save as>at the top of the Window that pops up you will find a Drop-down list. Click on the down arrow and Select Desktop so you can easily find and work with the file. In that same Window at the bottom you can name your File "Desktop 11-08-07" or whatever you choose. Below that you will see Save as type. Click the Dropdown arrow and select JPEG. Click Save and you're done! :D

You want to save as a JPEG because it takes up less room and most e-mail servers will only allow you to Attach JPEGs. It may be a good idea to save it on a removable media for future reference in case of new problem(s) concerning the same thing again. ;)

I hope this helps. Good Luck!

Well ...

The easy way is to hit the button in the upper right of your keyboard. Then paste that into word (or picture editing program like MS Paint).

Screen Print programs will help you control what you're capturing, create a graphic file that is smaller and easier to use.

If you want a screenshot, just press the Print Scrn button on your keyboard on what you want them to see. It is usually around the top right side. When you press that, it is already copied onto your keyboard, and then just paste it into Paint or a graphics program and save. Then you'll be able to send it!
