For the first part of the trilogy...
Fox Network
Satan: Simon Cowell
Dante: Jake Guillenhall
Beatrice: Pam Anderson (or Naomi Campbell if it were sweeps week)
Virgil: John Cleese
Sodomites: various senators
Cerebus: the cast of "The View"
Not to be a wise a**, but some of the people above seem not to have read Dante, if they consider it to be evil...

Mel Gibson would play Dante and Charlton Heston would play Virgil. The rest of the characters would be CGI.

I left out Beatrice. She would be played by Ann Coulter, in her first movie role. (I just think it'd be funny.)
