Yeah Except I think the Tennis shoes are from modern time and traveled back in time to the Nephites.

I can't remember much more than that though

But those would be stinky shoes.

I have never read those books so I cannot comment. I did get through all of the Work and the Glory books, though. Those are a nice historical-ficition series.

i've got a pair...looks like a suede sock , x-tra long [ r longer than high tops]but amazingly sturdy even w/o soles. got em at a china town store in New England
