God is the God of the Jews, the Gentiles, and all the variations you cite.
Maybe you need to apply a broader spectrum to your concept of God.

The word "image" in the Torah actually means shadow. The meaning of the word is related to how G-d will act towards us. The metaphor is that G-d will act towards us based on how we first act.

God is Spirit. That's separate from body. We are made up of body, mind and spirit, the only living creation that has a spirit that will live eternally. God always was and always will be, thus being eternal, like our spirit. That is the image that the Bible speaks of...God's eternal spirit, that He put into each one of us. <*)))><

the way i see it is, god created the image that we are in, that being the image of his own making therefore god made us in his image of what we call our reality, the truth is it is gods reality for us, the image is the creation we exist in, not our body shape.
