I live in the Phoenix area and am very confused with tv show times. Before the rest of the country changed time, cable tv shows were shown at the times listed on the network. For example, shows on MTV that are on at 10, were shown at 10. However, after the time change, these shows are now on at 11. How does this work? It makes no sense, especially since everyone else in the Mountain Time Zone has them on at 9 (an hour earlier) and we have them on at 11 (an hour later). I know this is a stupid question, but every show I watch on cable now comes on an hour later and it bothers me.

Rude comments are not necessary. I do not change time along with the rest of the country. However, cable tv shows are now on one hour later than what is advertised on the cable channel and from the time they were shown last week. I am curious as to why this is, I do not need to do math!

Because Arizona is crazy. I used to live in Tucson and I always meant to look into why Arizona refuses to go along with the rest of the country's time change and I never got around to it. It's just part of living there that time is a relative concept.
