Although the hispanic population will tell everyone how religous and catholic they are. They continue to do illegal things. Do they sit themselves in the front row of church and feel proud to do so?

Just a way to fill the pews and keep the donations coming, and use their so called compassion to wipe away the stench of the sex scandals that have plagued the church

What might help is maybe separating the idea of being "illegal" as a viewpoint of man's vs. a viewpoint of God's. Is being an illegal immigrant in the United States breaking God's law or man's law? Or for that matter, United States law? Since when did God's judgment play second fiddle to the law of man, from any nation, at any time? Sitting in the front row of the church is maybe the closest these people can get to the altar without getting in the way of the priest. Maybe too much is being assumed about why they are in the front row. Possibly it's to keep from being distracted by the fidgety congregation and focus on why they are coming to mass: repent, be thankful, pray in preparation of receiving the host. Your examination of their conscious maybe should be met by a mirror. Then you might be able to see for the first time the plank in your own eye and the stone in your hand.

I've read that the Catholic church has designated itself a "church without borders," so breaking American law in order to help illegals is not significant in the church's eyes. They don't care what happens to the quality of life in the United States because the Catholics come first, whether law-abiding or law-breaking. This is not prejudice on my part, just the logical result of taking a "church without borders" stance.

Wow! I read "Happy's" answer and was about to say "She doesn't sound very happy to me." Then I noticed you beat me to it! HAHAHAHA!!
The funniest thing is you never mentioned any race!!! And she called you a racist, anyway...DOH!!
Sad that these people KNOW they're doing wrong, that they fully intend to continue it and to assuage their own guilt, they reflect/project their guilt onto those whose lives they're ruining. Ever see a druggie teen scream at his/her parents about how evil they are?
As for the Catholic church, they sure seem to disregard any morality as it concerns the majority while pampering to the criminals whose actions hurt that majority. Hypocrisy, plain and simple.

well since it is a catholic church, i think the first thing they teach if forgiveness of sin. [I'm not catholic so i wouldn't know]
It's not that they're proud, its just that they have no other choice.
Ex. A s.l.u.t [black, white, puerto rican or asian] goes to church and repents her sins, does the church banish her for being a s.l.u.t.? Fornication is a sin, that doesnt make her proud because she sits in the front row...but wouldnt that be the first step towards forgiveness?
The catholic church may not exactly encourage them to comitt crimes but they do encourage them to go to church...

Created in the image of the one God and equally endowed with rational souls, all men have the same nature and the same origin. Redeemed by the sacrifice of Christ, all are called to participate in the same divine beatitude: all therefore enjoy an equal dignity.
The Catholic Church supports human rights and humane immigration law, not crime.
You shall not oppress an alien; you well know how it feels to be an alien, since you were once aliens yourselves in the land of Egypt. (Exodus 23:9)
The émigré Holy Family of Nazareth, fleeing into Egypt, is the archetype of every refugee family. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, living in exile in Egypt to escape the fury of an evil king, are, for all times and all places, the models and protectors of every migrant, alien and refugee of whatever kind who, whether compelled by fear of persecution or by want, is forced to leave his native land, his beloved parents and relatives, his close friends, and to seek a foreign soil. (Exsul Familia, Pope Pius XII, 1952)
"Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" (The Statue of Liberty)
Jesus said, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Matthew 22:39)
If we truly believe and live this greatest commandment then we believe that the earth, this country, everything we have are gifts from God, which we are called to share with our less fortunate neighbors.
With love in Christ.
