About one year of age, but every cat is different. My male cat graduated to adult food at 8 months of age at the advice of my vet.

Really though, with a high quality food, there is no "kitten" formula and "adult" fornula. They are good for all life stages. Wellness and Innova are good brands that are for all life stages. They have a kitten fornula, but their original is good for all cats all ages.

Most commercial kitten foods are developed to feed until 12 months of age. At that point, you can switch your kitten to adult cat food.

No clue cuz my former cat was on adult food when I got him at age 2. I would probably guess at 1 yr. Actually, I didn't think there was much of a difference. ALTHOUGH, I've been told by many people, that ADULT cats can not tolerate milk...they love it, but they don't digest it well, and then they....well, you know...PUKE IT UP ON YOUR CARPET! That's what my cat did so I don't know...I think it's ok for kittens though, as they do nurse so that's my guess....good luck if you have a new kitty cat....they're awesome...too damn independent and stubborn, but they still cuddle with you and that makes up for all the snarling and meowing at you!!! Good luck!
