By reasonable do you mean light weight, compact, multi functioning yet affordable? When my daughter was six months I put away our Chicco travel system, she had grown out of the car seat by then, and bought a chicco umbrella stroller. Really light, extremely compact, and tall enough for my husband. It only reclines slightly though. If I relied on our stroller for napping I may have spent a little more money and bought an umbrella stroller that reclined and was a little more cozy. I believe the combi stroller and a more expensive chicco stroller were models that I had looked at and liked. They had more features but were still light weight, compact and affordable. Most umbrellas strollers do not have under carriages and cup holders but you can buy them for rather cheap. I bought a couple of cup holders for five bucks from babies r us. They also have hooks and cups that you can easily clip on. It also really depends on the age of your child. If you have a new born you are limited to the stroller selection since you need a stroller with support and that fully reclines. How old is the child?
The other day I saw this really cool stroller that turns into a double stroller and grows with the child. I wish I could remember where I saw it. Then if you have a second you can transform the undercarriage into a second seat somehow.

Try a used one.

Especially if you're going to POSSIBLY (Even a little possibility) be adding another child to the mix in 2-3 years, get a used one. Usually there are gently used childrens stores around metro areas--like Once Upon a Child.

We splurged and bought the $200 stroller--Graco Quattro Tour. Great stroller. Too bad we can't use it now that we have our second.

Think about it like this: you can only use a stroller like that for 5 years or so. Instead of investing $200, why not invest $100 for the same value and then be able to give it away or have a garage sale without a problem?

graco metrolite. I worked in a baby store all through high school and the start of college. The graco metrolite is the best. The least complaints, about 10 lbs lighter than the average stroller, and graco is a dependable brand..Plus, it takes the snugride carseat which is the top rated for saftey and graco is so easy to use!!!

My sister and mom bought most of my niece's baby things at yard sales, used baby shops (once upon a child), or on craigslist.org. My sister didn't have a lot of money so I really can't remember her buying anything brand new, but she found items that looked like that hadn't ever been used before!
Good luck! I am 3 months pregnant and plan on getting everything used that I can, the prices on new baby items are ridiculous! Just make sure you look up to make sure there wasn't any recall on the "used" item you want to purchase.

No stroller is reasonable. They all collapse, actually.

Find the one that you want in the stores and then find it on www.Craigslist.com. I found television that we wanted that retailed for $1,800 and got it on Craigslist for $150.00. We found a pool table on there that retails for $5k and got it for $100. I love that place!!!
