Whenever i try to load my MGS3 action replay disk on my old ps2, it brings up a message saying either the disk cant be read, or 'PLEASE INSERT A PLAYSTATION OR PLAYSTATION2 FORMAT DISK', both seperate messages. Anyone know if i need to do something for the disk to work?
any help would be fantastic

i think the disc is either damaged/dirty
if cleaning it doesnt work then proabbly its broken

but it really sounds like its a foreign game to me
PS2 games only work in the region they are from
did you buy it abroad or from a shop that isnt "official"
or from a person because then it could be foreign.

As of advantageous now, there are no cheat units i.e. game shark, action replay or codebreaker for the PS3 or XBOX 360. From what i've got been able to sorting out, there would not seem to any attempt to create any.
