Is it pretty mild or should I just wait? I have a desk job so I'm not operating any heavy machinery or anything. But I don't want to act all goofy or anything either.

By the way--it is MY prescription so I'm not pill-swapping or anything.

It affects everyone a little differently, you should take it while you are at home and do not have to work to test and see how it affects you!

You probably have a 10 mg tablet. I have extreme back spasms upon occasion and must still go to work. The doc said to take half of a pill (5mg). He said it has the same amount of muscle relaxing ability, but without the drowsiness. Try it when you won't have to drive and could go to bed if you need to since all drugs affect everyone differently. It worked for me.

It is a muscle relaxer, which means you will be drowsy. Even if you have a desk job, you still need to drive home later. It is not a risk I would take. Tough it out and take the meds when you get home.

Side effects depend a lot on the individual. Flexeril just makes my mouth all cottony. Your results may vary. You probably should not take one at work if you don't know how it affects you.

how did flexeril make you feel when you used it before?
if it isn't your prescription, it is illegal for you to have it let alone use it. What if you have an allergic reaction to it? it could kill you!!
but one of the common side effects of flexeril is sedation, if you can do without it, then don't take it

Last time I took Flexeril at work I had to go home b/c I couldn't stay awake. I'd pass on it. If you are in tremendous pain, go home and take one.

It is a muscle relaxer and it does just that. I take one before bed to help me sleep. It is my little miracle pill!

It made me really sleepy! Do not drive after taking it!!! What you need are pain meds! Ibuprophen, naproxen might help!
