I think i might have a gum infection my gum hurts and feels a little inflated/swolen and its causing my two front teeth to hurt.
Is there anything i can to do help speed up the healing process?.

I wont go to a dentist because all they do is pescribe anti biotics of which i do not take because of its negative effects upon the imune system.

Would salt water help clean the infection?

You need to get to a dentist. Regardless of whether or not they prescribe antibiotics, they can do more for you than simple salt water.
As for the "negative effects" of antibiotics on the immune system, you don't need to worry. One cycle of antibiotics is not going to hurt you.

salt water will dry up the gums and make you more thirsty. Brush the area better in a circular motion half on the gum and half on the teeth. This will help purge the infection. Ambesol will help the pain or dab a little hard liquor on the gum and tooth.

Of course all dentist do is prescribe antibiotics. It is the ONLY way to kill the infection!!!!!
1) Take amoxicylin for your gum infection.
2) Use the floss. Your gums are going to bleed, but this is good. Because you haven´t floss you are getting the infection (bacterial plaque has built up inside your gums)
3) Rinse with mouthwash containing clorexhidrine
If you don´t take antibiotics, your gums are going to receed, and eventually your teeth will fall down.

You have the beginnings of Gengivitis without antibiotics to get rid of the infection you are in for a lot of pain. You may need a root canal ,the bone will eventually shrink and your tooth will drop out, now you won't be able to chew at all. You should go to the dentist, your future looks grim without him, Oh,yeah and any infection in your mouth can move directly to the heart.

If you don't get to a dentist and get anti-biotics they are going to fall out. Then you'll have to get a bridge which he won't be able to do until you take anti-biotics to heal your gums anyway. Anti -biotics aren't going to hurt your immune system unless you take lots or don't finish them.

yes salt water would help you. if that does not work add just a little bit of peroxcide to a whole glass of water and gargle with that. i used to "wash" my tonsils with peroxcide when they became infected. sorry about the spelling of peroxcide not sure how to spell it.. spell check didnt work.
