Many people are insecure and aren't happy with their own lives unless they are degrading others.

We all have a tendency to question others and their beliefs. We all grow up in environments where belief systems are established and nurtured, so that by the time we are in our early teens (sometimes sooner) and beyond, we begin to question mostly from the point of view that they are wrong because we tend to defend our positions. Studies have shown that when a child reaches the age of 6, a well rooted belief system is already in place. This does not mean that they cannot alter this belief system as we have seen with people who have been hurt by an establishment that claims to be other than they advertise.
If an individual is truly questioning in order to understand, that is one thing, but if the motive is to belittle and mock, then that is quite another. Both sides of the coin are quilty of this behaviour.

People question themselves and others, because they feel the urge to go beyond their established concepts. They want a proof for their beliefs and can't find it in their lives, so they need to provoke a situation where they can maybe find an answer. Or they attack other beliefs to find confirmation for their own. The same will serve who defend ones belief, so both sides are going into a kind of game, using each other to find confirmation for their own position. It is the simple thing with fighting, the one who wins feels stronger and gets satisfaction out of it, feeling more secure and feeling ones existence more. The one who is loosing also feels ones existence more by suffering, probably reacting then with anger and so going into the next fight with more energy.
Pretty primitive, isn't it? There is not much difference in getting into a street fight or arguing here at the Internet with others. Until one becomes tired of these games and reflects about them, maybe coming to more essential questions...

You are 100% accurate. Generally try to answer questions on here in an unbiased manner. Have studied nearly all the religions of the world and it is not my place to judge how or what a person believes. YA is supposed to be a place to foster goodwill, not alienate others.

I can't answer for everyone, but for the most part, I don't like to cause problems. I just like to put my point of view out there, which really is... Mind your own business and revel in your own joy and personal truth.
I like to see how people react to my comments and questions
and I have found that most people 'like' to think my way, just don't practice tolerance and acceptance at all.

I am not so sure that we may assume this section hosts people who question others and their beliefs any more than numerous other sections... And if you 'do' have problems with others, what then? Wouldn't such assumptions in themselves create problems for which resolves are needing facilitated?

You can question someone about their beliefs and still be respectful about it. If person avoids having their faith challenged then I have to wonder about the sincerity of that faith and how deep it really goes.

It didn't seem appropriate to question the beliefs of others in the "Bull Fighting" section.

People think that if you don't believe in what they believe in then you must be wrong. I think it has to do with the fact that someone else's beliefs might threaten their own. Silly, if you ask me.
