This one part of Yahoo answers has other questions not about the country. Other countries have only questions for travel. This Turkey part is much more fun. Why is it so?

to Pinky and The Babe, you are right. I have not seen Lebanon page. Still, so many countries have few questions. Algeria page is empty. Why is there a section for no one?

It's because there is no Y!A in the Turkish language only. As others have said, the Lebanon section is just the same. My contacts star a bunch of q's form there all the time that aren't travel related.

I can't answer for other sections not having these kinds of questions. The Turkey section sure is special. I think you either love Turkey or hate Turkey and there's no in between.
And Pinky's right, you must have only been looking in the European section.

hi Lou. as a visitor to this section i wondered that in the beginning. if you look at the bottom of the page there is no Turkish flag so as far as i can see this section is the nearest they get to their own board. it is a totally mixed bag of Q's in this section, it's like it's the whole of yahoo answers all mixed up into one.
if you ask a holiday Q it is really nice to get an answer from someone who actually lives there. The people on here are really helpful (as are most Turkish people I have met). I try to visit this section as often as i can, even if i don't actually answer any of the Q's. There are some funny people on here who make me smile. also my husband is Turkish and he sometimes has a peek. I really don't think the people here mind me butting in every once in a while (well i hope not anyway lol).

Well because it's getting boring to answer the same " how is the weather in Bodrum" question again and again.
But it's not only Turkey section. It's like that also in lots of sections like,Lebanon,South Africa,Malaysia..

Lou,it is not that Turkey is different,the fact is Turkey is unique.Every country in the Whole World has a purpose for the survival of the Planet Earth.Whether: Religious,Political,Envioremental.....etc.,etc. each country according to its location on the planet has to do what it was intended for.So Turkey is not different it is just doing what it has to!

Turkey has a quality. Everyone makes everyone feel so welcome its unbelievable. There is also a sense of closeness which I love!
