Losing weight is 50% what you eat, 30% building muscle, and 20% doing cardio work. Your diet is going to be the biggest contributor to losing weight, so it is important to focus on that end. Portion control is key, as is eating slowly so your body can tell you when you're full. Lifting weights is really good too. Resting muscle burns fat. Running isn't always the answer anyway, walking for 30 minutes is just as good as running for 30 minutes. But I suggest, put for focus on what your putting into your body.

Loosing 1 kilo a week is, for the vast majority of people, perfectly safe to do without medical supervision. Something you might want to consider is to build-up some muscle mass. If you're in Uni, try picking-up a membership at the Physical Education facility. You can try swimming for about an hour a day every second day. Walk briskly everyday...if you bus it to school, disembark a couple blocks earlier than you need to, and walk from there. It won't count as cardio, but it will burn calories.
In any case, Good Luck!

Well you can't really lose weight if you don't take the time to excersize. You gotta squeeze it in somewhere. But you should walk where ever you go- take the stairs not the elevator, little things. Don't eat after 7pm, get the full 8 hours of sleep cause thats when your body burns all the fat after working out. Don't eat fast food- if you must, choose a salad or chicken sandwich with no mayo. But you really should get about 30 min of excersise a day- you can squeeze it in! Good luck!!

Agree with CSL503. Focus on your diet first of all. Try eating smaller portions, and don't eat after 8 pm if possible. Take a good walk early in the day, and short walks of between five to 10 minutes when you can.
And now I'll take my own advice.

Who said 2 lbs a week was safe ?
Your doctor is the only one that can say for sure what & how is the safe way to lose weight.
50 Lbs. in 6 months sounds like a lot.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

try
coca - aloe
it is very effective, just 20 coca tea bags in one gallon of aloe juice, wait 1 week and start drinking one full glass before every meal and snack, tastes bitter but you'll get used to, works great! and you can see results as early as week 2 , I'm on my 6th week and I am a happy camper!
