Yes. Yes. Yes.
I have been telling everyone that this stuff really works. I suffered with depression and a major anxiety disorder. I even made a website that tells my whole story. http://www.finallysomethingworked.com . It took about 2 weeks for me to feel any effect of the fish oil. After a number of months, my symptoms were totally gone. Not only that, but I had all kinds of positive side effects which I later discovered were due to the fish pills.
I'm so glad to hear it worked for you too. I am totally sold on these things. I take 3 pills per day. I have been taking them for many years now. My symptoms have never come back.
If you're interested, please email me your story. If its good, I'll post in on my website. Lets help other people find their own cure.

about 5 years ago, I started to fall into a really depressive episode. At first I thought it was only because I had a bad break from a relationship but the feelings wouldn't go away even after I got a new girlfriend. It was wrecking my life until a point where it was seriously affecting my work and personal life.
She was very worried but at the same time couldn't understand why I was still sad and thought that I still couldn't let go of my previous relationship. Being the wonderful person that she is, she put aside her feelings and suggested I go for psychiatric evaluation. Many months later and even more anti-depressants, I was not coming close to being better at all.
After doing some research online, I found out the real cause as you described it really makes a lot of sense and purchased this program. The results were simply astonishing. I read this book over three times and put all words in action. Using this method, I've kept my depression at bay ever since. Up to date I'm still living happily with my girlfriend.

Yes. I've had problems with depression since my teen years. I'm 39 now and have been taking fish oil and upping my intake of omega-3 rich foods for about five years and haven't had any significant problems with depression since. To eliminate fish burps try enteric-coated fish oil capsules. They dissolve in the small intestines rather than the stomach.

The reason for fish oils is the EPA/DHA it provides. When I had acne, I was reading on acne.org's message board that 3 grams of EPA/DHA total (which ywould amount to 10 fish oil pills a day (I bought a 1000 1000mg bottle for $25. and it sure worked well) Depending on the fish oils you have, Id guess you have a 320mg total for both epa/dha at 160 each. So you may want to take around 3 grams of epa/dha instead. They have more concentrated fish oils just for that purpose, so youd be getting maybe 600mg total per one pill, which wouldmean 4-5 pills a day. Not bad.

Neve heard of fish oil as a treatment for depression. But it's very good for your heart.
If you have trouble with "fish burps", buy the enteric version. It's coated so that you should not have any fishy taste.

Years ago in 1988 I met a man who was a pharmaceutical rep to all of South America and a good part of Latin America. He told us that if you were going to do one thing only to improve your health, it should be to take fish oil capsules every day. He did not recommend taking the drugs his company was making.
Also: almond butter has some anti-depressant capabilities. Almond butter on toast makes a good snack or part of breakfast.

In the past I have noticed that the day after eating salmon I would feel really positive. But it seems as if this effect has worn off.
