You should discuss that with who ever is throwing the shower for you. If she wants to get favors then that would be for her to get but the bride just shows up and have a good time.

The shower is "FOR" the Bride. She should not have anything to with the shower, including the favors.

The person throwing the shower does favors. They dont have to be an expensive thing. Even little wrapped chocolates in white tulle are acceptable.

You don't really need favors at the shower. But if the host wants them, then its her job to buy or make them.

normally the bride doesnt do anything for the bridal shower..it is a party thrown in her honor..

They are not necessary, but whoever is throwing the party buys the favors. The wedding costs enough :)
