i can't tell you about others but, i moved out at 19 and i loved it. nothing like it at all. even if you had regrets about moving out at 18-19, at least you could say you tried.

Well..I moved out of my house when I was 18. My birthday was in June and i was out in July. there was some things going on in my home that I didn't want to be part of. I don't regret moving out, I just have a lot more responsibilities to handle. But I have been out of my house for 2 years now and it's great. I dont have to listen to the parents anymore and I can do what I want. It's really nice. I wouldn't change anything

I moved out at 17 to attend college. I didn’t regret it at all, but that might be because I had a dysfunctional family (alcoholic stepfather who abused my mother), and I was the oldest of seven kids and was sick of all the responsibilities I had at home (I basically spent my entire childhood being a mini-mom).
But if the situation had been different and I could have stayed at home while attending school (which I couldn't because the school was too far away), I probably would have, because it would have saved me a lot of money.

i havent left home yet(need a few more grand) but my sis did, she hasn't even considered coming back in 10 yrs, has a fabulouse teaching job, and a loving boyfriend. Just depends if you can be finacially secure on your own, I think child leeches are horrid!
