sounds like sciatia to me. i've had it, went to my doctor which he gave me painkillers for but didn't really help with the pain. i then went to see a chiropractor for a back problem and it turns out the pain in my knee was all connected to my back problems. On my first visit my knee pain had almost disappeared. Be aware though, most doctors do not believe in what chiropractors do but do not let this put you off. Seeing a chiropractor was the best thing i have ever did. I feel my general health has improved.

Could be osgood schlatters disease. Don't worry, it's not like an actual disease. God knows why they called it that! I had this a while back and it is more common in sporty, young people. It's where your muscles develop to be tanks earlier on as you are sporty. So the presuure on the knee joint increases. Research this online for more info just to check if you do have i, if all else fails go see a doctor :)

It could be anything from a pinched nerve to who knows what. You need to go see your doc to find out what is wrong. WIthout examining you and taking x-rays there is no way anyone on here can have a real clue what is wrong. Go see a doc.

Sounds horribly like sciatica - but you need to get to your doctors probably.
