This is the only time i smoke one whole cigarette and I never will again. While i was doing it, all the smoke was going in my face & i was choking from the smoke itself.. I have never done this before and never will again.. I just wnat to know if the one time did any damage to my insides. I hope not. Am I okay? As if I never even did it?

Nope, smoking one cigarette in your entire life won't hurt you. Eventually the nicotine you get from this would be naturally absorbed by your body and would be disintegrated in your system. unless of course you leave the cigarette on fire while sleeping and it burns your house.

Well it will not damage you very bad but yes it does cause some little problems. But if you have only aever had one I would not worry about it

You breath in more smoke sitting in traffic with you windows down or walking dow the street. Or being near a campfire

So one will not kill you one could lead you to want more and that starts and issue

If you've smoked it already no. There is more danger from second hand smoke than smoking just one yourself.

If you are considering trying it that assumes that the one you smoke doesn't lead you to smoke another, then another and another etc.
So I'd pass on it.

Yes, there are up to 2000 chemicals in cigarette smoke; many are known carcinogens: it only takes one molecule to start cancer, and the smoke turns off the body's natural defences against cancer. Chances are small, but very real.

No, your body can take that. Think of what else you are doing to your body which isn't too good. Just standing in a huge city with a lot of cars and exhausts isn't very healthy.

I saw this video on youtube once about the effects of smoking... the guy lit a cigarette and took a drag but did not inhale.... he blew the smoke out through a tissue stretched across his mouth and there was a nasty brown spot on it when he showed the camera. Then he took another drag but then inhaled and when he blew it back out, no spot. That means everytime you inhale a drag (even just on cigarette's worth) that tar stays in your lungs... I think I'll pass on even just one...
