WOW blast from the past, I remember white dog poop hehe, I always thought it was quite hard, Im sure as a kid I was always standing in it. Now when I stand in it Im there with a stick and my garden hose for ages, cursing the dog and there owner!!

I remember reading about this before (don't ask!) but it has got something to do with bones. There was something in the bone that made dog poo white, but unfortunately I can't remember the intricate details! Dogs don't eat as many bones these days with all the recent scares so white poo is less common.

The advent of introducing fines to dog owners is probably the main reason and that nowadays there are poop bins in parks etc! dont knock it as it is a good thing!

Oh yeah, I remember white dog poop - I think they used to put bone meal in the dog food which made the poo white - now they don't - the food is better quality than what people eat now!!

it was not your imagination. We do not see it any more because the majority of people now clean up after their dog instead of leaving it there to fester. Also before regulations they used to put all kinds of indigestible bulking agents into dog food, like ground up bones, chalk etc now that this has stopped you dont see it in the poop.

We used to believe that Poodles did the white poop. The reason that we don't see it today is that dog food is cheaper by the packet or tin and all that stuff has colouring in it.

go to elland rd and watchwhite dog poop on the pitch. they are proper sh1te. however they are doing quite well this season.
